Everest Panorama Trek

Overview

Everest Panorama; is one of the most famous short trekking in Everest region that provides amazing views of Himalayan ranges including Khan-Tega ; Kusum Kangaru ( 5579 m); Thamserku mountain (6623 m); Mt. Everest ( 8848 m); Lhotse (8516); Nuptse mountain; Ama Dablam (6812 m). You can also enjoy with delightful valley; Tengboche Monastery; Sherpa culture and tradition. The trek starts with scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and walk through exotic villages; picturesques valley and reach Tengboche; the largest Monastery and pace back to Lukla and flight towards Kathmandu.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport.

Prior to landing in Tribhuvan International airport at Kathmandu, you could have some excellent views of the snow-capped mountains. After customs clearance, meet with our tour coordinator and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Preparation at Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla Then Trek to Phakding (Alt: 2640 m).

After breakfast in Kathmandu, drive to domestic airport to take the 40-minute flight to Lukla (trekking starting point). After arrival at Lukla (2850 meters), commence trek through an exotic village to join the main trail from Chauri Kharka after about one hour. The trail follows the east bank of the river Dudha Koshi (River of Milk). On the way you can enjoy views of the Kusum Kangaru West Peak (5579 meters), beautiful terrace fields, typical slate roofed houses; and visit souvenirs shops. Continue to trek for 3-4 hours to Phakding. Stay at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (Alt: 3440m).

After breakfast, commence trek through beautiful terrain. The trail continues to gradually climb along the west bank of the river until the village of Benkar is reached. On the way you can enjoy views of the beautiful valley and Thamserku Mountain (6623 meter), cross the bridge and enter the Sagarmatha National park at the village of Jorsale. Then trek continues along the east bank of Dudha Koshi to the foothill below Namche, where you cross the suspension bridge. The first section is a steep ascent and from half way up, views of Mount Everest can be seen. Continue walking through conifer forest with wonderful views of Rolwaling Himal up to Namche Bazaar.The village is the administrative centre of the northern region of Solukhumbu district. Stay at Lodge.

Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

After breakfast; hike to Syangboche height; from the summit provides excellent views of Everest Panorama along with exotic and beautiful valley; the trek descends to Namche Bazaar for overnight.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (Alt: 3967 m).

Breakfast at Lodges; then trek nice climb up; the trail follows descends about 250 meter down to the Dudha Koshi bank and it climbs up about 670 meter to reach Tengboche, on the way you can enjoy with magnificent views of Thamserku, Kantega (6799 m) Ama Dablam (6812 m) ; Lhotse , Mount Everest and beautiful valley. Stay at Tengboche. The village is famous for it's the largest Monastery and viewing spot.

Day 07: Trek to Khumjung (Alt: 3700 m).

After breakfast trek begins through a beautiful train to Khumjung village. Explore Yeti skull at Khumjung Monastery, visit School which it has built in the cooperation by Sir Edmund Hillary, Also possible to visit Kunde hospital and you can enjoy with stunning views of snowy mountains. Stay at Lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Monjo/ Phakding (Alt: 2640 m).

After breakfast; trek descends to Phakding village via Namche Bazaar; en-route enjoy with beautiful valley and amazing views of snow capped mountains. Stay at Lodge.

Day 09: Trek to Lukla (2850 m).

After breakfast; then trek gentle climb up to Lukla village. En-route it provides scenery of exotic Sherpa villages’; agriculture terrace and experience of local community’s activities. Stay at Lodge.

Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu.

Day 11: Leisure at Kathmandu.

Day 12: Farewell.
